Important Info about our Maui Snorkeling Tours
This guided snorkeling tour is for those who can swim or have snorkeled before and can tread water. We welcome first time snorkelers but MUST be able to lightly swim with a life jacket on. Click HERE for more details about Wailea Beach & click HERE for more about Turtle Town.
Both snorkeling tours depart from Wailea Beach because parking at Makena Landing Park/Turtle Town is limited. We have a shuttle that leaves from Wailea Beach, which has more public parking, that will take you to the Makena Landing/Turtle Town snorkeling location.
About the Turtle Town Tour
You’re guaranteed to see Hawaiian green sea turtles on this tour! Turtle Town or Nahuna Point is home to a variety of sea life including Nenue (lowfin chubs), goatfish, octopus, black surgeon, frogfish, parrotfish, and so much more. But that’s not all – there’s a whole world of vibrant corals, colorful butterfly fish, eels, and even the elusive frog fish that you’ll discover as you explore this underwater paradise. And if you’re lucky, you might even spot a manta ray or a Hawaiian monk seal. Swim and snorkel from Makena Landing to Turtle Town with our expert guides!
About the Wailea Beach Tour
Snorkeling in Maui, Hawaii at Wailea Point is the perfect way to see the wonders of the ocean. Encounter colorful spiky sea urchins, curious octopuses, majestic manta rays, pufferfish, goatfish, black surgeonfish, starfish, and an entire ocean waiting to be explored. If you’re lucky enough, you might even meet Frank, the 91-year-old Green Sea Turtle residing just outside the Four Seasons – he’s been a local fixture for quite some time! Start off in the shallow waters of Wailea Beach and cruise into the coral gardens.

Went on sea scooter snorkel tour with Ryan. Had never used a sea scooter but it was so much fun and easy to use. Ryan was a great tour guide. He brought up a sea urchin, star fish, huge kong shell and even a lobster for us to see and hold. Swam beside a beautiful green sea turtle and saw one resting on a shelf in the water. Lots of pretty fish and coral. I would recommend going on the 8:00 am tour as the water will remain beautifully calm. Best snorkel tour EVER!!
